The day-to-day operations of the association are overseen by five officers.  The President, Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Development, Secretary, and Treasurer are voted into office by a general election and serve a one year term.  Each one of these positions is responsible for a variety of tasks.

The Officers appoint Committee Chairs who are responsible for detailed planning and execution of BLADE events and projects.  Chairs with significant responsibility may appoint Sub-Committee Managers.  All Officers, Chairs, and Managers are members of the BLADE Cabinet.

A BLADE Officer cannot be a concurrent Director.  The President is the only Officer who also has the ability to vote in the Board of Director meetings.
